Adult DBT Skills Training Group


DBT Group Skills Training offers specific skills for managing emotions and crises in more effective ways. This group is structured like a class and homework and practice is emphasized. You are required to be in individual therapy while attending the group. Prior to attending the group, you would meet individually with Dr. Hall or another clinician to determine if the group would meet your needs, fully understand the commitment necessary and to sign a group contract. Skills addressed include Interpersonal Effectiveness, Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance.
